To be successful in pest management, you first must be able to correctly identify the pest. With that knowledge in hand, you can then choose the most cost-effective way to treat it.
In this Pest Management Guide, we'll provide you with photographs and a brief description of the most common pests found in rice fields. We've also included weed response to herbicide charts that show how each of the chemicals registered for use in rice performs against specific weeds. Neither is meant to be an all-inclusive reference for pest control but rather a quick read.
