Annual Fall Integrated Pest Management Conference

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is holding the annual Fall Integrated Pest Management Conference on Nov. 15 in Plano.
The conference will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Plano Event Center, 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway.
The cost is $85 and includes breakfast, coffee and lunch. Registration is required by Nov. 10 at https://tx.ag/FallIPMPlano. Onsite registration is $100.
Five continuing education units, CEUs, are available for Texas Department of Agriculture or Texas Structural Pest Control Service pesticide applicator license holders. Participants not attending to earn CEUs may register for $45.
Participants must enter their correct TDA license number at the time of registration to receive credit. They should also include a good contact email address during registration
Pest management topics and experts
“Our annual fall pest management training is a full day of pesticide applicator continuing education from experts at AgriLife Extension Service and our community,” said Chrissie Segars, Ph.D., AgriLife Extension turfgrass specialist, Dallas, and event organizer. “Participants will receive the latest updates on pesticide laws, pest biology and identification, and pest management strategies.”

- Turfgrass Weeds — Eric Reasor, Ph.D., PBI Gordon Corporation, Dallas.
- Drift and Sensitive Crops — Michael Cook, AgriLife Extension viticulture specialist, Denton.
- Turfgrass Mites and Insects — Segars.
- All About Ants — Bryant McDowell, AgriLife Extension entomologist, Dallas.
- IPM Program Development — Janet Hurley, AgriLife Extension integrated pest management specialist, Dallas.
