Delta Rice Festival

September is National Rice Month, and Delta Rice Promotions has been celebrating this time of year for over 30 years in Boliver County, Mississippi. The Annual Rice Tasting Luncheon was held on the third Thursday of September for 30 years, but now the celebration has moved to a rice festival that is held on the streets of Merigold on the third Thursday of each September.
