Rice Footprint Secures Broad Partner Support

Conservation…

calricenews.org

We want to thank the following partner organizations for their support of the rice footprint report written by UC Davis earlier this year. As the report clearly states, working ricelands provide critical habitat in a state that has lost more than 90% of its once-abundant wetlands. Rice, especially rice flooded in the winter, is essential to more than 200 species and is the backbone of the Pacific Flyway.

We look forward to working with these partners, as we seek to intentionally implement the footprint objectives through innovative programs and supportive policies.
