The University of California Cooperative Extension will hold four educational grower sessions this fall, including one on rice weed management.
The Oct. 11 rice weed session will be in a Zoom format from 3-4 p.m. PDT. If growers want to attend all four in person, they can do so Oct. 20 from 9 a.m.-noon at the UCCE Sutter-Yuba office, 142A Garden Highway, Yuba City.
The webinar cost is $25 apiece or $55 for four. California Department of Pesticide Regulation and Certified Crop Advisor credits are pending.
The topics are:
• Oct. 4 — topics in Sacramento Valley tree crop IPM, 3-4 p.m. (webinar).
In–person: Oct. 20, 9 a.m.-noon (entire series)
• Oct. 11 — weed management in rice systems, 3-4 p.m. (webinar).
In–person: Oct. 20, 9 a.m.-noon (entire series)
• Oct. 18 — IPM in the Sacramento Valley, 3-4 p.m. (webinar).
