
The University of Arkansas will hold a half-day rice college, Aug. 1, at the Rice Research & Extension Center in Stuttgart.
Among the highlights are:
• Crop consultants, industry personnel and producers will see current research on many of the production challenges Arkansas rice producers are experiencing today.
• Presentations from University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture personnel and have the opportunity to take part in hands-on demonstrations.
• Event is “hands-on, boots-on” – you will need your boots!
• CEUs will be available.
Lunch will be provided. Registration fee is $50, but you must be registered before the event. The college is limited to 120 participants. The last day to register is July 28. There will be NO registration day of event.
Location: University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture Rice Research & Extension Center, 2900 Highway 130 E., Stuttgart, Arkansas.
