Tremont Lyman, an independent agricultural retailer in California, has brought all of its 15 retail operations under a new brand: Grow West.
The new entity was formed through a partnership of its two major founding members, Colusa County Farm Supply and The Lyman Group Inc. With roots beginning in 1954, the company has grown from a single location to 15 locations that support six joint ventures.
Among the operations affected by the name change are AgriSource, Agriform, Growers Ag Service, Harvey Lyman Co., AG Unlimited and TSI brands.
The name change comes at a time when the agricultural marketplace continues to change rapidly through vertical integration and consolidation, according to a news release.
“Today, we can serve California growers, no matter how large or small, with unmatched quality and personal attention to their operation’s profitability. But there is no doubt, we’re a stronger organization when we’re operating with a unified platform to partner with our customers on virtually every aspect of their business,” says Ernie Roncoroni, Grow West CEO.
Grow West offers an extensive line of products for more than 50 conventional and organic crops that protect, optimize and improve production. These products are supported by Grow West sales, service and technical teams, along with financial service capabilities.
In addition, Grow West offers scalable engineering and trucking services.
